THE RAINING BLOODDROPS
* Houre Noir - all vocals & instruments
Genre: Gothic Rock Metal
Location: Lohja, Southern Finland
The Raining Blooddrops (TRB) was found by Houre Noir in the beginning of 2000 to make Goth Music similar to The Sisters Of Mercy, (early) HIM and Paradise Lost. The original idea was to combine Goth Rock with Eurodance lyrics writing style (only a few repetitive lines per song).
Naturally the range of musical style expanded to the much bigger playground,
as Houre Noir composed over hundred songs for TRB on band's most active years 2000-2005. During that time couple of gigs were also played at
local band events with temporary live line-up.
In 2002 two songs, Allow and Snowbound, was released on Rock You II compilation album.
Around 2006 TRB was put aside, as Houre Noir started to compose more progressive and doomier songs under the name And Death Adored Her.
Songs were too heavy and complex to fit the style of TRB.
Most of these songs will be recorded and released by Silence After Funeral.
in 2013 TRB was brought back to life, when Houre Noir wanted to release a compilation album Crying Like Rain, Five Years Of Melancholia 2000-2005.
The album was assembled and mastered by Houre Noir and Surmalisti at
Studio Of The Dead.
Houre Noir has composed new songs for TRB and also made rearranged versions from his previous works. Revamped version of Snowbound will be the first official single as TRB activates again. Houre Noir still considers it to be one of his best songs, thought it was originally composed back in 2001.
Since 1993 Houre Noir has been involved in countless audio productions as a multi-instrumentalist and versatile vocalist.
In 2009 he started out an independent record label SickTwins Production with his fellow bandmates.
